Peugeot Celebrates Historic Cars at Goodwood

Peugeot 404 Diesel at Goodwood

For Peugeot, being at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed presented an opportunity for the brand to mark the past, the present and the future. However, we must be honest, we only really care about the past.

Peugeot celebrated producing 65-million cars over 125 years, light commercial vehicles over 120 years and winning what is believed to be the first ever motor competition 121 years ago. The 404 Diesel (above) was driven up the Goodwood hill climb exactly 50 years ago to the month since it achieved 40 endurance records, 22 of which were gained during a 3 day, 7,300-mile marathon.
