HMC Gearing up for Classic & Vintage Commercial Show

1957 Dalmore Distillery Commer QX Visitors can step back in time when the Heritage Motor Centre hosts the seventh Classic and Vintage Commercial Show on Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 June in conjunction with Classic and Vintage Commercials magazine and Vintage Roadscene Magazine.

The two day classic vehicle show is the largest classic commercial show in Europe. Around 4,000 visitors are expected to converge on this nostalgic show which will showcase over 400 commercial vehicles prior to 1989. A 1957 Dalmore Distillery Commer QX will be travelling down under its own steam from North of Inverness in Scotland, setting out on the Thursday prior to the show and arriving on the Friday afternoon.

As usual the Kelsey Media trade stand will be at the show where you will be able to talk to the new Classic and Vintage Commercials magazine editor, Peter Simpson. Key Publishing with also have their Vintage Roadscene stand indoors at their usual place on the gallery where you will get the opportunity to speak to Mike Forbes, the editor of Vintage Roadscene Magazine.

There will be over 70 classic commercial vehicle/transport related trade stands outside and over 10 indoor traders selling vehicles spares, photographs, die-cast models, brochures and tools amongst other things.

Tom Caren, Show Manager for the Heritage Motor Centre stated “This show continues to attract the classic lorry enthusiast every year and there are always a number of new restorations for visitors to enjoy alongside some of our other favourite vehicles. This is also very much a social occasion with people seeing and catching up with old faces that they haven’t seen since last year’s show.”

A one day advance ticket costs £12 for adults, £5 for children, and £10 for concessions. A two day advance ticket costs £22 for adults, £10 for children and £17 for concessions. Tickets on the day are more expensive, so see the website for full details.
